New (old) DAT machine
Just got an Sony DAT PCM-2700 from eBay
I have about 70 old DAT tapes from my father that need to be remasterd.
At the moment I am recording an concert of his ensemble the European Master Orchestra live in Zagreb 1988. And the tape still works perfect as it was yesterday, incredible.
soloists: Ludmil Angelov, my father Nikolaj Nantschev, the Harmonia string quartet and Mila Georgieva
It is very touching to bring those old recodings back to life.
